MISS GLOBAL TEEN ECUADOR 2010 - Maria Fernanda Perez


Maria Fernanda Perez, 17,was Chosen as the Miss Global Teen Ecuador 2010 in a casting organized by DIOSAS Escuela de Misses. Maria Fernanda is 1.68 m-tall, and she is a student of TV and Communication, besides being a professional dancer.

Miss Ecuador is originally from the city of Babahoyo, Los Rios Province.

Although it's the first time that Maria Fernanda represents her country in an international pageant, she has participated in several beauty and modeling contests in her country before.

She has won the titles Ecuador's Carnival Queen 2008 and Queen of Ecuador 2010. The Ecuadorian beauty was also a semifinalist at Ecuador's Supermodel contest in 2010.

MISS GLOBAL TEEN PERU 2010 - Estefani Mauricci


Estefani Mauricci, a 17-year-old university student, is Miss Global Teen Peru 2010. At such early age, this beautiful teenager participated in Miss Peru 2010 last month, and was a finalist.

She comes from Trujillo, the land which gave Peru a Miss World (Maria Julia Mantilla in 2004), and a Miss Tourism Queen (Silvia Cornejo in 2008).

MISS GLOBAL TEEN SOUTH AFRICA 2010 - Lizelle Christina Volschenk


16 year old Lizelle Christina Volschenk, a eleventh grade student from Point High School in Mosselbay, Western Cape, was selected this past weekend as the winner of the first edition of Miss Global Teen South Africa.

Lizelle mentions her goals short and longterm as “to graduate with good marks and be able to obtain a good job. After graduating I'm planning to study Dermatology for three years and afterwards continue to study hair and make up and styling if the oppertunity is there.”

Miss Global Teen South Africa is very excited about her upcoming participation in Miss Global Teen and states her expectations from the pageant experience as follows….. “I'm expecting strong competition from the girls representing their home countries at Miss Teen Global 2010, because I'm expecting no less from my side. We're competing internationally to proudly represent our countries - and I'm going to give my all, so I'm expecting to do well in Miss Global Teen.




As 32 nations head to her country to play in FIFA World Cup 2010, Miss South Africa will be joined by teenage beauties from aroung the planet to compete in Campo Grande, Brazil, on July 3, for the title Miss Global Teen 2010.

MISS GLOBAL TEEN CANADA 2010 - Chelsae Durocher

19 year old Chelsae Durocher has been selected to represent Canada in the 2010 Miss Global Teen Pageant. Chelsae is entering her 3rd year at the University of Windsor where she is enrolled in the Drama in Education and Community Honours Program. The Canadian beauty one day hopes to be an elementary school teacher; she loves working with children and will embrace any opportunity to allow her to do so.

In the past she has instructed children’s swimming and fitness classes, as well as volunteering in elementary schools promoting both fitness and drama. She is fluent in French and English, and is hoping to become fluent in her third language, Italian.

Chelsae was the 2009 Miss Teen Ontario World, and finished fourth runner up in the Miss Teen Canada-World pageant last summer.

She actively volunteers within her community, donating her time and participation in many events such as the Lifestyle Family Fitness and Windsor Spitfires morning program, where she promotes her platform of maintaining a healthy active lifestyle amongst children.

She is a strong believer in the power of volunteerism, and believes that everyone can make an impact on bettering the lives of others in need.

Miss GT Canada enjoys swimming, running, singing, and spending time with her friends and family, and would love to further promote her platform to youth around the globe. She is excited to have the chance to represent Canada in this wonderful event and to learn from the other girls about our global culture.

MISS GLOBAL TEEN MEXICO 2010 - Maria Yesenia Saucedo Parra

Maria Yesenia Saucedo Parra, 19, is Miss Global Teen Mexico 2010. Maria Yesenia is a Business Administration student and a model. She will probably be one of the tallest contestants at Miss Global Teen 2010: 1.83 m-tall.

Miss Mexico will compete for the title of Miss Global Teen 2010, to be held in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, on July 3.

MISS GLOBAL TEEN UNITED STATES 2010 - Rodriguez Lassance


Representing the United States of America at Miss Global Teen 2010 in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, is 19 year-old Caroline Rodriguez Lassance. Caroline was born and raised in Miami, Florida and is of Brazilian and Cuban descent.

She speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, and some French. The American beauty is currently enrolled in the dual college degree program at Florida International University/Miami-Dade College, with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Music, which has always been her passion.

Caroline did some modeling jobs while in high school and also had the opportunity of traveling to several countries with her high school choir, including the great honor of singing to the Pope at the Vatican in 2006.

She has been involved in environmental projects to help give awareness to the community about Global Warming, and at a very early age she started to volunteer in many community service organizations and charity institutions through her school, church, and Girl Scout troops.

For the last 3 years, Miss Global Teen United States has been part of a female vocal group called Brazilian Voices, a non-profit organization, in which she has had the opportunity of singing in several shows in South Florida, as well as being a part of its Educational and Arts and Healing Programs.

Caroline loves singing, dancing, playing the piano, and traveling. She is very proud and honored to represent her country in the first edition of Miss Global Teen, and is also very excited to visit Mato Grosso do Sul and meet the other girls from all over the world.

MISS GLOBAL TEEN COSTA RICA 2010 - Laura Barrantes

Laura Barrantes, 16, 1.78 m-tall, was chosen as Miss Global Teen Costa Rica 2010 and will represent her country in the first edition of Miss Global Teen, in Campo Grande, Brazil, on July 3.

MISS GLOBAL TEEN BELGIUM 2010 - Kathleen

Hundreds of teenagers from across Belgium applied to be the first Miss Global Teen 2010, and after the judges deliberated, 5 finalists fought for the title, won by 18-year-old Kathleen, from the city of Houhalen, in Limburg. The winner speaks English and French and is studying to become a professor.

Her hobbies include skiing and zumba dancing. Kathlen enjoys modeling when she has some spare time. She is always laughing and keeps a positive attitude towards life. Down-to-earth, Miss Teen Belgium is a girl with a great sense of humor.

She is eager to get to know the Brazilian culture and looks forward to meeting all the girls competing for the title of Miss Global Teen 2010.

Miss Global Teen 2010 will be crowned in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, on July 3.

MISS GLOBAL TEEN DOMINICAN REPUBLIC 2010 - Mayte Brito Medina



The first ever Miss Global Teen Dominican Republic was crowned last week in a press event with the presence of Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2010, among other beauty queens and fashion industry personalities. Several teenagers participated in a casting, and the winner was chosen by Magali Febles, director of Miss Dominican Republic Universe, and Luis Trujillo, director of Miss Global Teen Dominican Republic.

The lucky winner was Mayte Brito Medina, who was crowned by Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2010, Eva Carolina Arias Viñas. 19-year-old Mayte, who made it to the top 5 in this year's Miss Dominican Republic Universe, is 1.72 m-tall and a student of Communications. She enjoys reading and keep her perfect figure playing volleyball. She also loves merengue and bachata.

The Dominican beauty queen, who is very excited about visiting Brazil and competing for the Miss Global Teen title, is being sponsored by TRAVIESA.

MISS GLOBAL TEEN DENMARK 2010 - Agnes Josefin Helka

Agnes Josefin Helka, a 17-year-old high school student from Copenhagen, was crowned Miss Global Teen Denmark 2010 in an event held last weekend.

She is 1.73 m-tall and has done some modeling in her spare time. The Danish teen queen speaks Danish, English, French, and some Spanish.

Agnes will compete in Miss Global Teen 2010 on July 3, in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.

MISS GLOBAL TEEN BAHAMAS - Shamika Rolle



Representing the beautiful and picturesque 700 islands of the Bahamas in the first edition of Miss Global Teen is 17-year-old Shamika Rolle. This 1.73 m-tall Bahamian beauty is currently a senior student at one of her country's most prestigious educational institutions, Kingsway Academy. She plans to complete a Masters degree in Law with a minor is Mass Communications.

As a teen beauty ambassador for the Bahamas, Shamika has been involved in various community activities and volunteer work which has brought awareness to several social ills including HIV/AIDS, Peer Pressure, Abstinence & Teenage pregnancy, Violence against women, Cancer, Autism in children, and so much more. Miss Teen Bahamas also played an active role to send immediate food and clothes to the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.

An active student, peer motivator, runway model and trainer dancer, Shamika is truly a well rounded individual.

Looking forward to competing in Brazil, Shamika says, "the Bahamas is renowned for our beautiful beaches, its exquisite dishes, vibrant culture, and the warmth of its hospitable people. I intend to only to bring a fare of my country's culture, but I also anticipate making a bold statement in the international pageant arena that the Bahamas is capable of making an indelible mark on the international pageant scene - equipped with the right tools to secure another international teen title".

MISS GLOBAL TEEN PUERTO RICO - Corallys Yeseira Rivera Camacho


Puerto Rico will be represented by the beautiful Corallys Yeseira Rivera Camacho in Miss Global Teen 2010. At the age of 18, Corallys was chosen by Hector Joaquin Gonzales, beauty pageant expert and former fashion news editor of Ego TV and EGO magazine.

A student of Psychology, Miss GT Puerto Rico does not hide her excitement about visiting Brazil: "Brazil is a country that fascinates me, and it will be great to have a chance to learn about its people, its culture, its way of living".

The Puerto Rican stunner promises to give her very best to take home the international crown, and she thanks a few people who have not measured any efforts to make her dreams come true, to begin with her parents, Lourdes Camacho and Richard Rivera, and Mr. José A. Santiago, who she considers to be a second father.

MISS GLOBAL TEEN GUATEMALA 2010 - Christa Garcia

From the land of the eternal spring, comes Christa Garcia, Miss Teen Guatemala. At the age of 18, Christa is attending the Francisco Marroquín University, pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Among her hobbies are playing squash, dancing and spending time with her family members.

Miss Teen Guatemala has done some volunteer work in orphanages and has participated in fashion shows to help those in need. Her dream is one day to participate in a major adult beauty pageant, such as Miss Universe or Miss World.

MISS GLOBAL TEEN BRAZIL - Thuanny Rodrigues Ferreira

Thuanny Rodrigues Ferreira, a 16-year-old from the city of Rio de Janeiro, was chosen to represent Brazil in Miss Global Teen 2010.

Crowned Miss Teen Rio de Janeiro last November on a cruise ship, the 1.70-m-tall model knows that her responsibility now is much bigger: "I am very honored to be the first Miss Global Teen Brazil and to represent my country at home. It will be great to welcome girls from all over the world in my own country. I hope they take home the best memories and impressions from Brazil", she said.

Thuanny describes herself as a very outgoing person, who enjoys spending time with her friends, listening to music, dancing, and walking the runways. Her goal is to graduate from high school in 2011 and be admitted by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

"I want to go to college and graduate as soon as possible to be a great professional and an independent woman", commented the Brazilian teen queen.

Thuanny will be officially crowned by Ivaldo Ximenes, her agent and director, on May 20, during her birthday party. "Can you imagine that?? I am very excited and can barely wait for my birthday!", she complemented with joy.

Miss Brazil and several other international teenagers will compete on July 3, in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, for the title of Miss Global Teen 2010.

MISS GLOBAL TEEN NEW ZEALAND - Mariska Schoeman

Mariska Schoeman, 17, from the city of Rotorua, is Miss Global Teen New Zealand 2010.

With duo citizenship (New Zealander and South African), Mariska is excited about her two countries involvement in the upcoming FIFA World Cup: New Zealand is back in the competition after 28 years, and South Africa is the first African country to ever host the World Cup.

A student from Western Heights High School, Miss GT New Zealand is concerned about environment protection and global warming, and believes New Zealand is a positive example for many other countries.

She stands at 1.70 m, speaks English and Afrikaans, has brown hair and green eyes.

About her family, Mariska has the following to say: "I have two mums, a dad, two brothers and one sister. My family and I are very close. We have always been there for each other through the good and the bad and I'm very grateful to have the family and friends I have. I'd be so lost without them!".

She is now getting ready for her exciting trip to Brazil, where on July 3, she will be competing for the title of Miss Global Teen 2010.

MISS GLOBAL TEEN VENEZUELA - Kathryn Gonzalez

Kathryn Gonzalez, 17, from the city of Valencia, is the first Miss Global Teen Venezuela, chosen in a casting organized by Alexander Gonzales, pageant coach who has prepared several candidates to compete in Miss World and Miss Universe (including Amelia Vega, Miss Universe 2003).

Kathryn, who in the near future will go to college to study Communications, is excited about traveling to Brazil, a country she always wanted to visit. She believes it will be a great opportunity to make new friends and to have a place to stay in different countries of the world.

The Venezuelan beauty queen has won several beauty competitions in the past, like Carnival Queen of her city, among others.

She has done lots of volunteer work helping the elderly and those in need in general.

MISS GLOBAL TEEN PHILIPPINES - Mariella Castillo

18-year-old Mariella Castillo has been designated as the representative of the Philippines in the first edition of Miss Global Teen.

A fashion design student at the College of Saint Benilde, an affiliate of De la Salle University, Mariella has a vast experience as a model and beauty contest.

She was the 1st runner-up in Bb. Batangas 2008, participated in International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) New York 2009, was the 1st runner-up in Miss Bikini Phlippines 2009, and a finalist in Bb. Pilipinas 2010, the national pageant to select the Filipino representatives in Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss International.

Now Mariella is getting ready to travel half the planet to compete for the title of Miss Global Teen 2010, in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.
