[劇情介紹]:
派出所出勤的警察谷本的遺體，
在公園的游戲設備中被發現。因為是被自己的手槍射穿了太陽穴導致的，而且手槍也不見了廖廔廙廑，榵槃榣榥所以他殺的可能性很高。但是，倉石自己毅然斷言說是自殺。他殺的話就會稱為殉職蓊蒶蓏蓀，駃骱骰骯自殺的話就會淪為成手槍使用不當。雖然擔心世人批判的第五代警察部長倉石很是強烈的確認，總是堅持自己的自殺說法。但到底根據是什么呢......
但是就算是這樣的倉石也總是被一件事情所牽絆著。就是沒有找到谷本的警笛。是在搶走了手槍的犯人那呢潳滽漟漺，嘕嗹嘐嘛還是掉在哪呢......
事實上，谷本是原監察科科員。是倉石很尊敬的前輩。為了照顧沒有了媽媽的女兒 繪梨華遮鄱鄪鄮，寥察寨寠才要求調動到自己現在的管轄科。但是，好像直到谷本死之前也都沒有和繪梨華處的很好......
已經證明了谷本患有進行性大腸癌。已經足夠作為自殺的動機。但是，手槍依然還沒有找到。
就在這期間，發生了一起凶器明顯是谷本手槍的案件。死者是自行車競技，原奧林匹克候補選手長谷川。2年前離婚，不被允許看兒子，也沒有工作，等成為其自殺的原因。但是，此次倉石卻認為是他殺。使用警察手槍作案的殺人事件。犯人是誰呢？還有，警笛去了哪里呢？
Synopsis
Tanimoto Masahiro, a police officer who works at a police post in a park within the metropolitan area, is found shot to death. His shoulder strap has been ripped off, and his gun and whistle have gone missing. At first, it is not able to determine if it was a murder or a suicide but forensics examiner, Kuraishi Yoshio, concludes that it was a suicide from the circumstances and traces of gunpowder burns. Someone had taken Tanimoto’s gun away after he committed suicide. Tanimoto has no wife and he does not get along well with his only daughter. Furthermore, he is afflicted with cancer, and it is thought that the three-month life expectancy that he had been given, was the reason for his suicide. Before long, the stolen gun is found. It is gripped in the right hand of a person who has died an unnatural death …
