BIOGRAPHY:

Czarina Catherine Ramos Gatbonton is one of the three reigning Binibining Pilipinas 2010, and she is expected to represent the Philippines in the 60th edition of Miss World. Aside from winning the title Binibining Pilipinas-World, she was also the recipient of the Manila Bulletin Readers’ Choice Award.

Gatbonton impressed the judges with her answer when asked, “Given another life, what would you like to be and why?’’ She answered in Filipino.

“Gusto ko pong sagutin ang katanungan sa ating Wikang Pambansa. Kung ako po ay bibigyan ng pangalawang buhay, gusto ko maging puno na nagbibigay hininga at buhay. Salamat po.’’ (I would like to answer the question in our national language. Given another life, I would like to be a tree that allows us to breathe and live. Thank you).

Standing 5 feet 6½ inches tall and weighing 116.6 lbs, Gatbonton has a body measurement of 34-23-34½. She also enjoys basketball, volleyball and acting, and has dreamt of becoming a beauty queen.

Gatbonton, who was hailed from a small island village of Pamarawan in the historic Malolos, Bulacan, is a sophomore student taking up Hotel and Restaurant Management.

Czarina is in her second year of a Hotel and Restaurant Management Degree at University. Her hobbies include: Volleyball, Basketball, Badmington, Table Tennis and Swimming. Personal Motto: ‘Smile and the whole world smiles with you’.

Favourite Music / Books ?
My all time favourite song is 'The Prayer' a duet between Celine Dion and Adrea Bocelli. The song won the Golden Globe Award for best original song in 1999.
Describe yourself
A simple woman with big dreams and the passion and determination to make them come true.
Favourite food ?
My favourite food is the 'adobo' which in Spanish means sauce or seasoning. Preparing the dish involves stewing either pork or chicken in soy sauce, vinegar, crushed garlic, bay leaf and black peppercorns and often browned in the oven or pan fried afterward to get the desirable crisped edges.
Future ambitions ?
Put up a foundation for abused women and children which empowers them through education and livelihood.

Dancing, Singing and Acting.

I am an Island girl, I grew up in a small Island in the Philippines, I travel by small motor boat 30 minutes from Island going to the city.
