【劇情簡介】：

繼2010年廣受好評的《幻夜》之後，暢銷作家東野圭吾的作品再度於連續劇W登場，與“伽利略”系列及《變身》等作品一樣，東野最擅長的醫學領域懸疑。
在札幌女大學生鞠子（長澤雅美）的記憶中，母親並不疼愛她。她對自​​己的身世滿懷疑問，但幼時的一場蹊蹺火災帶走了母親的生命，也封鎖了她的一切疑問。
長大後的鞠子開始探尋身世之謎，並發現與她長相一模一樣的女生小林雙葉（長澤雅美）的存在。

Synopsis

Ujie Mariko (Nagasawa Masami) is studying child welfare in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Kobayashi Futaba (Nagasawa Masami) is a university student living in Tokyo. Mariko lives with doubts about the love of her mother, whom she has no resemblance to and little recollection of her love. That mother of hers had died in a fire nine years ago. Finding her mother’s possessions in a relative’s house, Mariko decides to search for the secret of her birth and heads to Tokyo. On the other hand, Futaba spends all her time with her band in Tokyo, and is to make a television appearance. However, Futaba’s mother (Tezuka Satomi) is strongly opposed to her being on television. Futaba is suspicious of her mother’s uncharacteristic behaviour. Meanwhile, Mariko sees the footage of Futaba and is surprised.
