HISPANIC- AMERICAN QUEEN 2009 - RESULT: MISS CHILE IS THE WINNER OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FACE


THE RESULT OF HISPANIC-AMERICAN QUEEN 2009

In a very dynamic event promoted by Yanbal and Promociones Gloria, Miss Chile, Nataly Chilet, resulted elected the candidate with the ‘Most Beautiful Face’ in the Americas and Spain. Nataly, who competed in Miss World last year, is one of the favorites to win the crown on Thursday night. If it happens, it will be Chile’s first victory in this beauty contest.



The 21 contestants of the Hispanic-American Queen 2009 beauty pageant have been enjoying the hospitality of Santa Cruz and Sucre, and have already competed in several preliminary competitions. Meet the winners:

The Chica Aerosur contest, promoted by Aerosur - Bolivian Airlines, took place in Sucre. The winner was Miss Brazil, Livia Nepomuceno, who during a whole year will be able to travel to all Aerosur’s destinations for free, including Madrid, Miami, Lima and Buenos Aires. Miss Venezuela placed 2nd, Miss Chile was 3rd.

Miss Dominican Republic won the Most Beautiful Hair Award. This event took place in Santa Cruz.

Miss Paraguay, Mareike Baumbarten, was voted the ‘Most Elegant’ among the 21 candidates. She competed in Miss Universe 2009, in the Bahamas.

A former Miss World contestant, who also competed in Miss Tourism Queen, Maria Amalia Matamoros of Costa Rica was the favorite among photographers covering the event: she was elected ‘Miss Photogenic’.

Miss Colombia, Lina Mosquera, who currently holds the ‘Miss American Continent’ title, has the best figure in the competition. Misses Bolivia and Puerto Rico finished this competition in 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.

The hometown girl, Flavia Foianini of Bolivia, also had its moment of glory: she was chosen as the candidate with the most beautiful smile.
