Viivi Pumpanen is the shortest candidate of Miss Suomi 2010 (Miss Finland 2010) beauty contest but that didn’t stop her from winning the crown. She won on January 17, 2010 via text votes while first runner-up Anne Nurminen and 2nd runner-up Susanna Turja were chosen by the judges. Viivi is not new in beauty pageants. Last year, she won Miss Helsinki title.

Viivi was born on July 20, 1988 in Vantaa, Finland. She is a model and part time service clerk.

Viivi was very happy after she was announced as this year’s winner. She really wanted to be the country’s representative to the Miss Universe pageant since she was eight years old. She was very thankful that her mother and father are very supportive to her that they have guided her to reach her dream. In an interview made by MTV, Viivi said that said that she would like to restore the prestige previously felt for the title.

Viivi, who stands 167 cm (5.479 ft), is also the shortest candidate in the Miss Universe 2010 beauty pageant. Instead of worrying about her height, Viivi focus herself in her trainings and preparations for the upcoming pageant.
