Mi Shil laughs if Moon Noh by any chance believes that she has any part in contributing to his death. Mi Shil said that Geochilbu supported & was in league in her common cause, this is why he conspire to depose of King Jinji. Moon Noh said that Geochilbu concurs to the depose of King Jinji as the same with Moon Noh but however the understanding for the reason behind this cause defer in somewhat

Kim Yu Shin & Al Cheon after painstaking reads through the Guksa, Al Cheon comment as expected doesn’t find anything that they are looking for. King Jinpyeong tells that the Royal Household is aware that that King Jijeung did give out 3 meanings to the name he chose for Silla but the 3rd meaning was not written on the Guksa when it was pass down. Deok Man said that there is no written accounts of it. King Jinpyeong is that the Guksa that Geochilbu wrote only carry down 2 meaning but then Moon Noh is aware of this & why did he bring this out as a subject

Deok Man asked if by chance King Jinpyeong show her the last letter Geochilbu wrote to him. King Jinpyeong asked the letter to brought to him. The letter brought to him as he show it to Deok Man

King Jinpyeong said that the letter only acknowledge Geochilbu concerned about the future of our nation & there nothing more in the content of the letter to say otherwise

If you see the last sentence from right to left it mentioned the name of King Jinheung’s dagger. Chinese characters are read from left to right up & down. He works not out of wood but also stone, He is also well verse in miniature calligraphy. Princess Man Myeong said that when she was young, Geochilbu gave her a wooden doll with writing on it, but the writing was so fine that it is impossible to read, she has clear eyes then when she was young but now she doubt she can could read them

Deok Man & her entourage arrives at Heungnyunsa temple

Heungnyunsa Temple is situated in Gyeongju. It is currently now in ruins & just a temple site. It is the Historic Site No. 15. The Silla’s 1st Buddhist temple, Heungnyunsa Temple was first built by Goguryeo Buddhist monk Ado, who came to Silla to spread Buddhism. The year built is around AD375, but it is said that the temple was built in thrift that had thatch-roof, and the temple was for preaching only. As the death of King Michu, who permitted for the temple, the temple was destroyed. However, the martyrdom of Yi Cha Don in the 14th year of King Beopheung (AD527) contributed in rebuilding the temple and completed the construction in the fifth year of King Jinheung (AD544). Since then Silla kings and aristocrats became ardent patrons of the temple, treating it as the symbol of patriotism, national prosperity and peace. In the main hall, the Maitreya Triad is enshrined along with the portraits of some of the greatest Buddhist priests of Silla including Ado, Yi Chadon, Wonhyo, Euisang, Jijang, Hyegong and Pyohun. In front of the main hall, there are sites for an octagonal pagoda, a pavilion in the west and a gallery around them. The south gate of the temple was called Gildalmun gate because the gate was built by a ghost named Gildal. The temple was burnt down by the rebel forces during the last years of Silla, but rebuilt in the fifth year of King Gyeongmyeong (AD921). According to a folklore, a man named Jeseokcheon helped in rebuilding of the temple. And in thanks to the help, people wanted to paint his portrait, however, he asked the people paint the Bohyeon Bosal Boddhissattva saying that the Boddhissattva was the one who contributed more. The temple went through another fire in the Joseon Period, and remained closed. The stone water bowl, the largest stone work of Silla, and the stone prayer platform that belonged the old temple were moved to National Gyeongju Museum. The most famous relic excavated here is perhaps the broken piece of “male” tile where a smiling face is carved into. It was in the 1980s that Heungnyunsa Temple was reborn. However, some scholars have reasons to believe that Yeongmyosa Temple was here referring to a tile piece found in here saying ‘Yeongmyosa’

Deok Man greets the monks of Heungnyunsa temple & the Abbot of Heungnyunsa temple show Deok Man to their study room where Geochilbu used to compile the Guksa. The Abbot told that they has preserved the place to the original placing as it just as it was when it was use for the compilation of the Guksa by Geochilbu & the scholars. Deok man caught the attention of the screen & asked what it is. Al Cheon explains that if you read it in whatever way, the character makes comprehensive sense in its meaning

Kim Yu Shin reads Myeong Il Gwang (Ming Ri Guang) means the Should radiance rays bless the days then comes Il Cheon Myeong (Ri Tan Ming) means The radiance rekindles the sky then Gwang Myeong In (Guan Ming Ren) means the radiance kindles the people. The meaning doesn’t defer even if you read it sideways. The Abbot calls it Mu Cha Ma Bang Jin. The Abbot said that no matter how it is read in whatever direction of formation, it means the same. Geochilbu created this formation word game as a form of relaxation for fatigue relief but he was a talent craftsman that makes he often made Juryeonggu dice as well. Geochilbu enjoys painting. Deok Man asked whether the source of Geochilbu’s material he use to compile the Guksa is still in existence. The Abbot tells that the important documentation has be store & kept at the Royal Achieves, the rest are all place in this study now open for reference. Deok Man asked to see the materials as the Abbot permit them to the place. Deok Man, Kim Yu Shin & Al Cheon goes through bamboo scrolls & books .

King Jinpyeong asked Moon Noh his reason for bring the subject question out. King Jinpyeong asked whether Moon Noh know the answer to the 3rd meaning as Moon Noh said that he doesn’t know for himself. King Jinpyeong asked if he isn’t aware on the answer why the question as he will not know the correct answer. King Jinpyeong himself has all this while went to search for this answer but without success whether it is related to King Jinheung’s grand ambition that he has mentioned. King Jinpyeong question what this impossible ambition is all about. King Jinpyeong doesn’t understand himself what inspiration must he take heed in this ambition. Moon Noh brought this question out in order to seek the answer. Moon Noh said that it is most likely that the 3rd meaning is now only know to Mi Shil.

King Jinpyeong asked what Moon Noh is implying that Mi Shil knows the 3rd meaning & asked whether she purposely conceal the 3rd meaning & doctored the Guksa for her own benefit. Mi Shil tell his fraction that they will never able to find out the answer as only Se Jong & her knows that truth. That truth is going to be buried with them when they pass on. Ha Jong said that it will not pass it to him. Mi Shil tell unless they open their mouth, Deok Man can go to Heungnyunsa Temple for all she cares or reads the entire Guksa; what could it ever change the course of history, for the sake of this nation, it will remain a secret

Deok Man & Kim Yu Shin read the material in Heungnyunsa Temple & found nothing. Kim Yu Shin asked Deok Man to retire while he look through some more. Kim Yu Shin said that this is the Bi Jae for Pungwolju, it is not up to her to find answer but he who is competing. Deok Man insist that she has to find the answer for herself. This is because Moon Noh thinks that she became a Royal Princess with the intent of gaining the throne despite her shortcoming of not knowing nothing about Silla or have no right to do so. Deok Man admit that Moon Noh is correct that she doesn’t know anything about Silla, she must find the answer to gain the path to the throne. Deok Man said to herself what if Mi Shil eliminated everyone & destroy all evidence to hide & conceal that answer. Kim Yu Shin went home. Deok Man goes to read Geochilbu’s letter to King Jinpyeong thoroughly again

Princess Man Myeong gives Kim Yu Shin the doll that Geochilbu made for her as a present. She went to find it in case it could bring her son some help in his quest. Kim Yu Shin reads the miniature calligraphy on the back of the doll as Princess Man Myeong said that his son still have his eyes to read the miniature calligraphy that trigger Kim Yu Shin something & leaves. Princess Man Myeong confuse to see her son leaving with such haste

Meanwhile Deok Man realise that the letter could be read in the Mu Cha Ma Bang Jin technique as Deok man leaves her room & Kim Yu Shin comes running. He finds that Deok Man is not in her room & sees the letter & realise where she might has gone. Deok Man goes back to the temple study & look through the records. Deok Man meets with Kim Yu Shin who tell that it is Mu Cha Ma Bang Jin technique with miniature calligraphy

Deok Man said that Geochilbu had genius for Mu Cha Ma Bang Jin technique in constructing his characters & the last letter from Geochilbu before his demise was not a simple letter. Deok Man goes through the last line from right to left to derive So Yeop Do Seong. Deok Man realise that it is related to King Jinheung’s dagger then Deok man takes it out as Kim Yu Shin notice that there must be miniature calligraphy conceal in the dagger
