When Moon Noh returns, he learns from the lady proprietor that young Bi Dam went to chase the men into their hideout single handed. The lady proprietor said that he went on a frenzy telling her that how important those item in the package are even he was badly batter & bruise & enquire from the lady proprietor about the whereabouts of the men. Moon Noh asked how can the lady proprietor fed information of their whereabouts to a young boy & he went to venture this on his own. The lady proprietor said that young Bi Dam barter some food in exchange for information & she thinks that he will not come to any harm. Moon Noh goes to find Bi Dam at the hide out which is in the cave & he finds people lying moaning in agony & pain & goes searching through the people for young Bi Dam & finds him unconscious, brought him out of the cave then asked whether he is alright. Young Bi Dam regains conscious then tell he had killed all of them Moon Noh is shocked as young Bi Dam said that he had kill them by putting the poison Chu Do into their food & poison them all
Chu Do is monkshood root or the pulp. The poison in Monkshood is called aconitine & is classed as an Alkaloid toxin, one of the deadliest and most formidable poisonous substances known to man and the symptoms of being seriously poisoned are burning sensations inside the mouth, dizziness, headaches and vomiting. If larger quantities of the poison are ingested then breathing will become difficult followed shortly by paralysis and convulsions leading to asphyxiation due to gross blood circuit failure, the victim writhes in agony his spasms however rapidly decrease as coma takes hold leading to imminent death.

Return to the present Bi Dam goes to Deok Il Sa Temple as the monks greet Bi Dam on the purpose of his visit. Bi Dam meets with Mi Shil as she pass him he asked his name is Bi Dam & he is the student of Moon Noh. Bi Dam confirms the matter. Mi Shil tells Bi Dam that Moon Noh had taught Bi Dam well that he is quick & witty. Bi Dam said that he is not on par with Mi Shil. Moon Noh is upset as Bi Dam cut him off & said that he will enter the Bi Jae tomorrow. Then Moon Noh asked who has permit him to enter Bi Jae for tomorrow. Moon Noh warns that if he enters Bi Jae tomorrow, Bi Dam will cease & expel him from being his student. Bi Dam asked whether Moon Noh has ever once acknowledge him as his student. If he is not his student, he can’t expel him. Bi dam asked if it was all because of that incident on that fateful day, as Bi Dam said he was just a child. Bi Dam asked it is because of that reason, from that day & moment onwards that Moon Noh express his fear in Bi Dam. Bi Dam asked whether where else in this world does a teacher is afraid of his own student. Bi Dam leaves & remind Moon Noh that he was but a child then, the least Moon Noh could have done was to hug him once & leaves as Moon Noh shouts calling Bi Dam as he sat down in a thud back to his chair
Bi Dam ran hard in sprint then broke down crying. Then Bi Dam runs into Princess Cheon Myeong’s shrine to find Deok Man as Deok Man asked what is the matter. Bi Dam tells that tomorrow Bi Jae, he will want to makes her wish come true. Deok Man asked what is Bi Dam implying with that remark. Bi Dam tells that he will make Kim Yu Shin the next Pungwolju
The next day the 3rd section of Bi Jae. Then Ho Jae announce that the 3rd section of Bi Jae will commence. The Bi Jae will commence in the hours of O (Horse, 11am-1pm, consider noon). There will be handed special wooden swords supplied by the Ministry of Military. If anyone were to fall & can’t regain to get up again will forfeit from the Bi Jae. There will be any responsibility of accountability should anyone falter. If by chance there is a concluding winner then it will handed to Moon Noh & Chil Sook to decided the winner. This Bi Jae will select the next Pungwolju not only exclusive for the Hwa Rang in Seorabeol but the whole nation Hwa rang division of 32 to participate
Chil Sook gets up as Ho Jae announce that Hwa Rang grant respect to Chil Sook as the Wonsanghwa as the Hwa Rang pay their respect. Bi Dam heading to the Bi Jae. Deok Man putting incense into the urn as Deok Man pray to her sister Cheon Myeong. Deok man informs that today is the 3rd section of the Bi Jae & they will have to pray to wish Kim Yu Shin many success in the outcome of the Bi Jae & Kim Yu Shin becomes Pungwolju. Deok Man recalls Bi Dam assurance that just as it was her wish that Kim Yu Shin to become the next Pungwolju, Bi Dam promise that he will make her wish realise. The Hwa Rang draw lots. Seok Bum is No.31. Then Kim Yu Shin is called. Kim Yu Shin comes to draw his lot. Kim Yu Shin draws No. 1. Al Cheon said that Kim Yu Shin will meet Baek Eui for his 1st round. Guk San Heun runs to see Deok Man to ask him to come to the Bi Jae ground as something has happened> Meanwhile at the grounds, Ho Jae queries about Bi Dam gate crashing on the Bi Jae uninvited. Bi Dam announces that he is participating in this Bi Jae. Deok Man is shocked to what Bi Dam is doing at the Bi Jae grounds & wonder what he is up to
