The first edition of the Miss Friendship International contest took place in Wuhan, China, and the winner was Miss Thailand, Kantapat Peeradachainarin, 22. Miss Mongolia, Tugsuu Idersaikhan, was 2nd, followed by Miss Brazil, Daliane Menezes, 3rd, Leva Taraseviciute, Lithuania, 4th, and Taiwan, Xu Qian Hui, 5th.
